- Consider your budget; some places are more expensive than others
- Think about how long you want to go for – do you want to go for a long weekend? A week? Or perhaps two?

We just touched on it above; Mexico is high on our agenda of places to visit this summer. Mexico has lovely weather all year round, gorgeous beaches as well as plenty of places to visit – the resorts in Mexico are stunning. If you’ve never been to Mexico, once you have visited, it’s easy to get the bug and want to keep on visiting. When staying in Mexico, it’s easy to get the best of both worlds when it comes to cities and beaches. There are also plenty of cruises that take place to and from Mexico if you are looking to try something different.

On the flip side to Mexico, England is a destination that always thrives throughout the years. Many people opt to visit London as this is the Capital of England. However, there are plenty of other places you can visit. Cambridge is full of history, Brighton has a lovely beach, and you may have heard of Devon and Cornwall, which are also very popular (Spa hotels in Devon are a must), and there are so many things to see and do. When it comes to a quintessential breakaway, England needs to be on your list.

If you are someone that loves food and loves culture, then Italy needs to be high on your bucket list of countries for you to visit this summer. Italy is packed with so many beautiful different places, from the stunning countryside to enviable coastlines and bustling cities. Head to somewhere such as Genoa if you want a really authentic stay, Rome to immerse yourself in the history, and Venice if you are looking to get away from traffic and ride the stunning waterways.
4 Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a stunning destination offering a pared-back experience than you might get if you traveled to India. With a myriad of sites to see and things to do, you’re spoilt for choice. Make sure to take a ride on a traditional Tuk Tuk where a local can show you all the sights and let you know some of the secrets of this beautiful island. America is one of the largest countries in the world, and whether you live there already and want somewhere new to explore or have never been, it has so much to offer.
