Movies are imitations of reality sometimes. They reflect people and their lives. Moreover, events they passed by are the main concern of the story of the movies. Undoubtedly, to release a successful movie, you need a professional cast of actors and actresses, qualified director…etc. Yet, the soundtrack is not less basic than the other elements building a flourishing movie. Frozen is the soundtrack of a Disney animated movie called also, Frozen. It was released in 2013, including 10 original songs, which are written and composed by both Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The most famous song is “Let it go” by Idina Menzel, which is like by all those who watched the movie.
7 Magical Mystery Tour: Magical Mystery Tour:
It is a soundtrack by the English rock group the Beatles and was released in both UK and US. The movie is also of the same name. Actually, the soundtrack was received both critical and commercial achievement and was a number one Grammy-nominated album in the America.
6 Amélie:Amélie:
It is a soundtrack of a French film of the same name, released in 2001. The soundtrack was awarded World Soundtrack Award for Best Original Score of the Year, in 2001 and César Award for Best Music Written for a Film in 2002. For nominations, the sound track was nominated for BAFTA Award for Best Film Music, in 2001.
5 The Mission: The Mission:
It is a soundtrack of a movie, called The Mission, directed by Roland Joffé. The soundtrack was composed and produced by Ennio Morricone. Depicting different cultures, the album includes liturgical chorales, alongside with native drumming, and Spanish-influenced guitars. The soundtrack was selected for an Academy Award in 1986 and recieved the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score as well as the BAFTA Award for Best Music.
4 The Dark Knight Rises: The Dark Knight Rises:
It is a soundtrack of the movie of the same name, released in July 2012. The CD version of the album includes a restricted code to open three bonus tracks. The key themes were composed by both Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard. The score received mostly positive reviews. It was said by Jonathan Broxton of Movie Music UK that “In many ways, The Dark Knight Rises showcases the best and the worst of Hans Zimmer’s musical personality in one all-encompassing score”.
3 Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’s soundtrack:
It was released in 2001. The film’s soundtrack was composed and conducted by John Williams. Moreover, it was nominated for Best Original Score at the 74th Academy Awards. Actually, the soundtrack was recorded at Air Lyndhurst Studios as well as Abbey Road Studios, located in London.
